CHALLENGE
In 2009, Crystals opened inside the City Center in Las Vegas which was destined to house the largest collection of elite retailers. Boasting more than 500,000 square feet of upscale retail, dining and entertainment, it has become an unprecedented array of some of the world’s most elite couture and luxury brands. Renowned fashion house, Prada, was scheduled to become part of the ultimate shopping experience on November 30, 2009. Due to construction delays, they found themselves in need of large wall graphics that would announce the upcoming grand opening of the store to the thousands of tourists who frequent Las Vegas especially during the busiest shopping time of the year, the day after Thanksgiving. Specifically, the signs needed to cover the 21,000+ square feet of space outside the entrance to the Crystals. Aside from the meticulous printing solutions necessary to fulfill a project of this size and scope, the project also had to be completed by Saturday, November 28, 2009, which was only four days from the moment Altitude Color Technologies received the call.STRATEGY
Our action plan consisted of meeting two goals; providing the client with quality printing solutions within the specified time frame. We strategized on which equipment would be best suited to accomplish these goals and who on our team would lead the efforts in order to complete this assignment on time.Given the caliber of this client, we knew we had to move forward diligently and efficiently. We received the specs and images and immediately began working on the production of the signage and worked through the Thanksgiving holiday to meet the deadline. The team leveraged every opportunity possible to get the project completed. We printed, produced, cut, trimmed, laminated and packaged each panel.
RESULT
We successfully helped our client announce their grand opening date via a successful completion of this project. Due to our dedication to customer service and attention to detail, Prada continues to work with Altitude Color Technologies today.
